Buddhist Circuit

If you have planned your religious tour with the best pilgrimage tour packages, arrive at Varanasi railway station or airport on your tour date. Meet our travel agents and check-in to the hotel. Drive to Sarnath where Buddha delivered his first sermon and if you wish to witness divine Ganga aarti in the evening at Ganga ghats in Varanasi, you can visit (charges apply). Later, have your dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.

On this day of your Buddhist pilgrimage tour, drive to Bodhgaya (journey of 7 hours). Check-in to the hotel there and visit Mahabodhi temple, Muchalinda Lake, pay respect to Chankramana, Animesh Lochana Chaitya, witness Sujata stupa, and meditate under the Bodhi Tree. If time permits, we’ll also visit other monasteries and Buddhist temples in Bodhgaya as part of your pilgrimage tour with the Buddhist circuit tour package. Night halt in Bodhgaya.

In the early morning, proceed to Rajgir and check-in to the hotel there. Visit world peace pagoda, Griddhakoot parvat, and hot water spring in your Buddhist pilgrimage tour. Later, drive to Nalanda as part of your trip with the Buddhist circuit tour package and witness Nalanda remains. Night halt in Rajgir.

This is the fourth day of your Buddhist circuit tour, drive to Vaishali – a place for second Buddhist council. Spend half-day sightseeing and then, proceed to Kushinagar. Check-in to the hotel and overnight stay in the hotel at Kushinagar.

On this day of your trip with the Buddhist tour package, visit Mahaparinirvana temple, Ramabhar stupa, and a place with physical remains of Lord Buddha. After your lunch in the afternoon, proceed to Lumbini – the birthplace of Gautama Buddha. Check-in to the hotel in Lumbini and night halt.

Your Buddhist circuit tour continues with a visit to Lumbini. So, when you get through this place with the Buddhist circuit tour package, visit Mayadevi temple, Pushkarini Pond, and Ashokan pillar. Have your dinner and stay overnight in the hotel at Lumbini.

Early in the morning, drive to Shravasti where Gautama Buddha experienced good monastic life. Visit Jetavana monastery and if you wish, you can meditate at Ananda Bodhi tree and Mulgandh Kuti. Later, proceed to Lucknow and night stay in the hotel.

On this day, your Buddhist circuit tour with the pilgrimage package ends and you can drive to Varanasi for your further journey.

If the guests wish to visit Sankasia (Sankisa), we can arrange the drive (3.5 hours) from Lucknow itself. In this case, if you want the same day departure, the departure point will be Lucknow and not Varanasi. However, if you wish to visit Sankasia and want the departure from Varanasi, your tour will be extended by one more day.
