Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Half-day City Tour

Welcome to Hanoi! Your guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. After you’ve settled in (rooms available from 2 PM), your Hanoi exploration begins.

You’ll explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s very first university, and then enjoy a peaceful stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake with views of the Turtle Tower and Ngoc Son Temple. Wrap up the day at Hanoi’s iconic Train Street, where you’ll sip a free drink and soak in the thrill as the train gently rumbles past.

Meals are your own. Your day ends with relaxation in the Hanoi hotel.

Day 2: Day trip to Ninh Binh (Hoa Lu, Trang An) (B, L) – Joint in Tour

At 07:00 AM, your guide will collect you for a scenic drive to Ninh Binh. After a short break, you’ll explore Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital, visiting the 17th-century temples of King Dinh and King Le. A leisurely bicycle ride through local villages allows for a glimpse into daily life. Lunch offers a buffet selection of regional dishes.

The afternoon begins with exploring Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage site, by boat. You’ll find many captivating caves in the landscape, familiar with “Kong Skull Island”. The trip back to Hanoi finishes around 06:30 – 07:00 PM, with drop-off at your hotel or our office.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight Cruise (B, L, D)

A scenic journey from Hanoi commences your Halong Bay adventure. Upon boarding the luxurious cruise, a welcome drink and a delectable lunch await. The vessel glides through iconic limestone karsts, offering breathtaking views.

The afternoon presents opportunities to explore the bay. Guests can choose kayaking or a bamboo boat ride through serene waterways. As the sun sets, relax on the sundeck and join a cooking class. A sumptuous seafood dinner follows, and the evening offers activities like squid fishing or stargazing.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City (B, Br)

Enjoy a relaxing morning and sunbathing in Halong Bay after breakfast. Brunch is served on board around 11:30 AM on the way back to Hanoi. You arrive in Hanoi between 03:00 and 03:30 PM, with free time before catching your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, you are greeted and transferred to your hotel for quick check-in. Meals other than brunch, you will have to be paid for. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L) – Joint in Tour

Start the day by visiting the Ho Chi Minh City landmarks. You can view the iconic Independence Palace, which represents reunification, and admire the French colonial styles of Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. The War Remnants Museum has a poignant and moving experience as it showcases the effects of Vietnam’s conflicts.

Following a local lunch, you’ll venture to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extraordinary example of wartime ingenuity. Discover the underground network, learn how it functioned, and experience the conditions faced by Vietnamese soldiers. You’ll have the opportunity to taste local tea and cassava, and those interested can try their hand at the shooting range before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6: Day Trip to Mekong Delta (B, L) – Joint in Tour

Your Mekong Delta adventure begins as you leave the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh and journey to My Tho, a wonderful town along the Mekong River. First, you’ll visit the historic Vinh Trang pagoda, a beautiful 19th-century site. Then, together, you’ll embark on a delightful sampan cruise, exploring the enchanting islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise.

At Unicorn Island, you can stroll along country lanes, explore lush orchards, and savor tropical fruits while enjoying local folk music. A visit to a fruit plantation follows. The next experience is exploring the tranquility of the countryside with a hand-rowed sampan ride through Thoi Son canal, visiting family-run businesses, a honey-bee farm, and a coconut candy workshop. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you can either cycle through Tan Thach village to experience local life or relax in a hammock and enjoy the Delta breeze.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh – Departure (B)
